Weekends
Weekends for boarders combine time for the girls to work, relax and enjoy themselves.
Structured prep time on Saturday, a well as numerous opportunities for independent study, especially for the older girls, provides the necessary support to the weekly curriculum, and an activity or lecture led by a member of the school’s academic staff provide stimulation and an introduction to ideas that take them beyond the syllabuses and schemes of work that they follow in school.
A busy activities programme is planned for each term, which includes trips and visits, fun activities and entertainment. As well as those which are open to all boarders each house has its own specific outings where the girls can spend time together, and with their own House staff, in a way that develops important bonds.
