ICT

Information and Communication Technology is taught as a subject in its own right. All children, from Nursery upwards receive two dedicated ICT lessons per week in the newly refurbished Computer Suite. Here, 18 Networked PCs and an Interactive Whiteboard allow children to experience a wide range of appropriate multimedia software and peripheral resources. The older children enjoy strictly supervised Internet access, via a broad bandwidth Internet connection. Children are taught specific skills to allow them to become more autonomous in their use of ICT. In addition to dedicated lessons, use of the computer is fully integrated into all academic areas of the curriculum.
