Our Vision...
Since the School's foundation Leweston has shaped the academic and spiritual development of thousands of students, welcoming girls and boys of all denominations and backgrounds, enabling them to develop their talents and character for themselves and for the greater glory of God.
Our ethos and vision emanate from the tradition of our founders, the Religious of Christian Instruction, who believed in the education of the whole person, a search for excellence and the finding of God in all things. This tradition encourages us to embrace sensible change and constantly develop the high quality education which equips our pupils for the opportunities and demands of modern life.
In order to support that education we have drawn together a number of major projects across the whole campus in a Development Plan, projects that will dramatically improve the academic, creative, sporting and boarding facilities at Leweston.
We've Got Plans for the Future!
Leweston School is celebrating 60 years of being at the Manor. In order to continue our vision of excellence in education into the next 60 years, we are raising £2.5 million to build a senior Study Centre. We need your support for our Building for the Future Campaign, the first campaign of such magnitude in Leweston's history.
While it is the development of core values that we hope will sustain them in all life's eventualities, our young girls going out into the world today also need a modern education that sets them on a level with, if not ahead of, any of their contemporaries.
In order to provide them with the confidence to gain from and contribute positively to all spheres of life, we need to make Leweston operationally stronger and better outfitted than it is.
You Can Help
As part of the Leweston Community, we are all the critical connection between Leweston's past and its future. The students who are still to come through Leweston will gain from the way those who have gone before have remembered Leweston and will be inspired by their gifts. We need your pledge of financial support to broaden and enhance the educational experience of our students. The success of this campaign is based on each and every person considering a gift of significant sacrifice.
