EYFS Qualified Teachers (Full time)
(Transition Class – Age 3 and 4 years - Permanent) and (Reception Class – Maternity Cover role from October 2017)

Leweston School is seeking a enthusiastic and committed Early Years Teachers to join our thriving Junior Department and Nursery. This is an exciting time to join us at Leweston as we move into new, purpose-built accommodation. 
Working within our friendly and professional team, this is an opportunity for two outstanding teachers to work in our separate Nursery and Reception classes, creating nurturing and stimulating environments for all our children. A knowledge of working with children with SEND would be an advantage. We are committed the professional development of our staff and there will be opportunities for progression. NQTs are welcome to apply. 
You must have: 
• A proven record of excellent Early Years classroom practice skills and knowledge 
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills to enable you to work effectively as a member of a hardworking team
• The ability to work closely with the Head in order to develop and enhance the provision within the EYFS. 
• A commitment to continuous school improvement 
• The ability to work reflectively and be an effective role model capable of inspiring and motivating others

Full time Early Years/Nursery Practitioner

Due to our continued success and expansion, Leweston School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our thriving Nursery which offers high quality childcare and education. This is an exciting time to join us at Leweston as we have recently moved into new, purpose-built accommodation. Working within our friendly and professional team, this is an opportunity for a well-qualified practitioner to help create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0 - 4 years. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS, strong communication skills and a passion to be an exceptional Early Years Educator. We are committed the professional development of our staff and there will be opportunities for progression.
Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience of working in a similar role is desirable.
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. Hours of work are between 7.30am and 6.15pm, Monday – Friday, in accordance with the duty shift rota.

We are seeking a friendly outgoing Receptionist to join our busy School set in beautiful surroundings close to Sherborne.
The successful candidate will be have previous experience in a Reception role and will be able to work under pressure. You will also be required to provide support to the Bursary and the School Secretary on occasions.
