Coming Up: 24 Hour Triathlon

Year 13 pupil, Clemmie, has organised a 24 hour 'triathlon' on the last two days of term, 22 - 23 March, in memory of her friend. Leweston will be dancing, running and swimming to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The day will start with 10 hours of dancing then Upper Sixth will cycle through the night before finishing the event with a run. The entire school will be taking part from Reception to Upper Sixth and staff. We anticipate that it will be an incredibly fun and energetic 24 hours! Please visit Clemmie's Just Giving page to read more about the event and where any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to help reach the target of £1,500. I have organised this in memory of my friend Emma Rose Hatchley whom I had known all my life. She very sadly lost her battle with a rare and severe illness in 2014, aged 15.  Her family lived in Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital for almost 4 months while doctors, surgeons and nurses fought to save  her. During this time Emma was cared for by nurses, doctors and surgeons across over 30 departments. Our grand total will go to Team Hatch which will be used to help fund advanced life saving medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and the rebuilding and refurbishment of the Hospital - Clemmie, Year 13
