During the Foundation stage the children will be encouraged to:

Foster an enthusiasm and enjoyment of Art/DT
Express themselves creatively as the essence of all that they do.
Highly value their own work and that of others throughout the year groups.
Develop key artistic skills. For example, painting and drawing, using colour in a variety of ways, print making, collage, clay, model making and a variety of other mediums and processes.
Explore, enjoy, discuss and respond to a variety of art, craft and design forms.
Become familiar with well known and established artists and designers.
