Santa drops in for Operation Christmas Child

On Friday 25th November Leweston Prep school enjoyed a flying visit from Father Christmas who forfeited his usual means of transport for a Royal Navy Sea King helicopter! 

Santa made this special appearance to collect the shoe boxes that the pupils in the Prep School had been collecting for Operation Christmas Child and annual project that enables schools and other organisations to fill ordinary shoe boxes with small toys, school supplies, sweets, and other gifts for needy children around the world.  Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest children's Christmas project and since 1990 the project has helped more than 60 million boys and girls across the world.
