The Library
Our spacious new library combines book resources, computers and study areas. Carpets, sofas, abundant windows and modern furniture ensure that the library is a popular venue for classes and individual students to study or relax with a book. We have a large range of contemporary and classic fiction to suit all ages and tastes and non-fiction books across the curriculum.
An experienced librarian is available during the day to help students locate the resources they need and teaching staff supervise evening study periods. Students are able to keep in touch with their friends and family using email during breaks and after school.
State-of-the-art computer facilities, including laptop points and an interactive whiteboard ensure that students and staff have all the resources they need for lessons and coursework. At the front of the library there is a pc linked to a projector and sound system .
The library is open throughout the school day and during the evening and weekends for boarders.
