School Houses

On entry to the school each girl is assigned to one of the four Houses: Campion, Fisher, Mayne and More. The House system exists as a means by which the ethos of the school may be translated into action and to foster a sense of belonging within the school. Thus throughout the year there are regular House competitions in a variety of sports; this programme, organised by the PE Department, culminates at the end of the academic year in Sports Day and the Swimming Gala. Also at the end of the academic year the House Studies Cup is awarded for academic performance. The Drama and Music Departments organise an annual Inter-House Competition in which all members of a House participate. Over the year girls in each House take part in a House Mass.
