Year 12 enjoyed their Geography field trip, learning the skills needed to conduct their own geographical investigation and write up. The students visited Bideford and Barnstaple where they managed to enjoy some sunshine and the view from the River Taw and Torridge estuary.

They also looked at coastal processes, land forms and associated coastal management at Westward Ho! The only place in the world which contains one exclamation mark. Our Geography students worked hard collecting data which they will analyse in class.

They also held their own mini sports day as they sadly missed out on the school one. In two teams, the students had to get around an assault course without dropping an egg. Then they had to drop a cone into a tyre whilst on the zip wire. The competition finished with archery and was a very fun way to end an educational trip. Congratulations to Carlotta, Eliza and Kate who were the winning team!
