Congratulations to our Year 11 pupils who received their GCSE results today.

Among the strong results are some outstanding individual accomplishments; Stella M achieved an impressive 12 grade 9s including Computer Science, Further Maths and Classical Greek. Eve F gained 10 grade 9s and, between them, Issy C and Grace P achieved 17 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s.  15 of the 35 candidates achieved at least eight grades 9-7, or A*/A.

Of the 25 GCSE subjects on offer 20 achieved 100% grades 9 to 5, including Latin, History, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Fine Art and Textiles. The school’s excellent record in Further Maths continues with 100% grades 8 and 9.

John Paget-Tomlinson, Headmaster, congratulated the students on their achievements:

‘This is a fabulous set of results in exceptional circumstances and the pupils ought to be rightly proud of the hard work they and their teachers put in. The pupils will now be able to move to their Sixth Form studies with confidence and we look forward to seeing them in September.’
