This year’s Leweston Tetrathlon & Triathlon Summer camp was another great success with 90 young athletes between 9 to 17 years old taking part in swimming, running, fencing, shooting, biking, Triathlon, Biathle, Triathle and sea swimming throughout the week.
The camp took place 2-7 August with the option of signing up as residential or non-residential and was lead by 14 experienced sports coaches. The athletes were split into 5 groups depending on age and sports that they wished to do for the week.
The last day of camp saw an Epee fencing and Triathlon (swim-bike-run) competition in the morning with a Triathle (shoot-swim-run) competition in the afternoon. This gave the athletes the opportunity to put all of the skills they had learnt during the week into practice.
The dates for next year’s Easter & Summer Camps 2022 will be Easter Camp 11-16 April, and Summer Camp 8-13 August, plus various Pentathlon and Triathlon events and training days at Leweston School throughout the year. Keep an eye on our Leweston Pentathlon Academy Twitter, Facebook and Instagram where you will find video and photos from the camp this year.
