Prep 5 and 6 each visited Lulworth this week to look at the incredible geology of the Jurassic Coast. Sessions in the Education Centre building exploring what the pupils had already learned during their Topic lessons at school, and walks to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Stair Hole, all allowed the children to see at first hand the Geological features which make this stretch of coastline so special – including the famous Lulworth Crumple and the spectacular arch of Durdle Door. The pupils enjoyed sketching the features of each of the views they faced and learning more about the various rocks that can be found there.

The sun shone for both trips and a great time was had by all.
