Invitation Races – Boys’ Cross Country
We were delighted to host Sir John Colfox, Bryanston and Bryanston Knighton House for our Invitation Boys’ Cross Country Races last week. Under 14 boys ran over a 3km course with the older boys running 4.5km. Despite the wet and windy conditions everyone ran well.
In the Under 12 race Oliver M was first home in a time of 12 mins 33 secs followed by William H.
In the Under 14 race Jonas G won comfortably in a time of 12 mins and 12 secs from William S with Leweston taking the team title.
In the Under 19 race our very young team was led home by Year 9 athlete Reuben C in 4th place, followed by Jay C in 10th. Congratulations to all of our runners and to Sir John Colfox who won the U19 team race comfortably.
We look forward to hosting a girls cross country competition, on 4 November, for Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 19 athletes with at least 15 schools expected on the start line.
