Leweston Cross-Country club travelled to Studland Beach, last Thursday to participate in 2 races. The first race was over 3.2km which comprised girls of all ages, as well as boys from Year 9 and below, from eight schools in total.

Around 70 athletes rang along the beach and back from the cafe at Knoll Beach. Charlie B, Year 9, was the first athlete to cross the line out of the large field closely followed by Zamir U, Year 9. Felicity P-R, Year 9, was the first Leweston girl across the line.

In the longer race for the older boys, Miko L, Year 13, finished in a fine second place in the Senior boys age group. Bruce R, Year 11, also ran superbly to finish as 4th intermediate boy.

Thank you to Mr Brand for taking some fantastic photos while supporting Charlie and the rest of Leweston School at the race.
