The Leweston Equestrian team braved the horrendous weather at the weekend with riders heading to Bicton and Moreton. Despite a few of our riders withdrawing from the Bicton competition (because of the stormy weather) we managed to take the win in the final Royal Windsor Qualifier against 11 other teams entered.
However, we are delighted their endeavours paid off with team ‘Jubilee’ winning the 90-95cm class to take the Royal Windsor Intermediate qualifier and team ‘Marine’ securing the win in the 1m-1.05m for the Hickstead Elite qualifier (both teams also acquiring their qualifications for the NSEA Keysoe National Championships).
This will be the fifth time in a row that we have competed at Windsor with just 18 places available to win throughout the Country it is quite an achievement.
Congratulations to our soggy but victorious riders in the Windsor Q:
Team Jubilee (90-95cm winners)
