On Friday 18 March, both the Senior and Prep school at Leweston supported Red Nose Day for Comic Relief, to help people live free from poverty, violence and discrimination. This includes funding organisations that are supporting people right now in Ukraine, and those attempting to cross the border.
Prep 2 Teacher, Miss Peat, has set up a JustGiving page for the Prep school. Thank you for all the donations we have already received.
Two Year 7 students, Ursula L and Sukie S put on a fantastic spread of cakes, fudges and blondies all for Comic Relief. Thank you so much for baking these in your own time and organising the cake sale, our staff and students thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
In the Prep school, the pupils started their day with an active dance session, inspired by Joe Wicks, where all pupils had to copy the moves of their House Captain. Each House had a corner of the playgroup to jump, spin and run in. The 30 minute dance exercise ended with a friendly ‘dance-off’ and of course a conga!
Thank you to all our students for showing their support by wearing a red nose and donating money to charity!
