In the culmination of 12 weeks of hard work researching, experimenting and writing up their own scientific projects, the Year 9 STEM CREST award students showcased their projects to parents, staff and students in a scientific poster exhibition in the theatre on Tuesday.

Projects the students chose to research varied from the effect of acid rain on plant growth, can you make roller coasters go faster by increasing velocity to the identification of the best surfaces to reveal fingerprints and many more in between.

Huge congratulations to all of the CREST students on some outstanding projects and for some interesting discussions on areas that interest them in STEM.
