Prep 5 had an action-packed time away at ‘Mill on the Brue’ in Bruton on their recent residential trip. From the moment they arrived the pupils faced incredible new experiences which allowed them to demonstrate the ‘Leweston Learner’ characteristics and memories were created which will last a lifetime.
Amongst the activities that they enjoyed were grass tobogganing, going on a huge zip wire, completing assault courses, tackling the climbing wall, doing the leap of faith, going canoeing on the river Brue, tunnelling, air rifle shooting and even a disco (in which the teachers also showed off their best dance moves!). With so many activities on offer it was certainly a challenge for all to choose a favourite!
Throughout the residential, it was a joy to see all the pupils working brilliantly as a team and supporting each other on all the challenges. The pupils were a pleasure to take and so much fun was had by all.
