We were blessed with beautiful weather for this year’s Senior School Speech Day which was held outside the Manor House on Friday 1 July, and it was wonderful to be able to welcome everyone back as normal due to previous Covid-19 restrictions. Like many others, it was also Headmaster, Mr Paget-Tomlinson first whole school ‘in-person’ Speech Day!
We heard from Mr Paget-Tomlinson, our Chair of Governors, Mr Ian Lucas, Education and Catholic Matters Governor, Deacon Mark Brown. Head Girl, Amalie G, addressed the school and her fellow Year 13’s with a heartfelt speech about ‘change’ and in particular, about how she had developed into a confident young adult.
A big thank you to our guest speaker, writer and award winning journalist, as well as OA, Charlotte Edwards, who provided us with a reminiscing speech about her time at Leweston and how she faced resilience to get to where she is today.
A huge well done to all our prize winners and we wish this year’s leavers all the best in their next adventure!
