Congratulations to all our riders who rode at the 23rd NSEA National Schools Championships at Addington.
Molly C and ‘Herbie’ retained their National Open SJ title winning the last class of the four day show and were 4th in the competitive 1.10m SJ Championship.
May S and the evergreen 24 year old, ‘Drop the Subject’, were on flying form, 4th was their magic placing as they consistently stood in line for the novice, Inter SJ and inter JWS honours.
Team Navy also took 4th in 90-95 Inter JWS against 23 teams jumping the challenging championship course in the indoor arena. Congratulations to Ruby P, May S, Hen J and Madeline RS.
Our open 1m-1.05m JWS arena Eventing Team collected 8th place (and more red buckets), well done to Tara W, Hen J, Madeline RS and Charlie W.
Both our dressage teams made the final top eight with Leweston Steel in 5th (Tara, Ruby, Madeline) and Leweston Indigo 6th (Charlie, Hen, Ruby, Madeline).
On Monday in the Individual Prelim Championship Charlie W was thrilled to take 5th place and Hen J 8th.
Ruby P won the National Plate Prelim title topping off a very busy weekend for her with two ponies and 11 classes.
Very well done to all our riders including first time competitors at these championships; Florence C, Poppy S, Charlotte S and Grace S.
Achieving placings or even clear rounds at the Nationals is an accomplishment and we are thankful for the support of our parents, grandparents, coaches and our wonderful horses who try so hard for us.
