Following the success of our inaugural Leweston Lecture by Dr Ben Broadbent, we are delighted to announce our Summer Term Leweston Lecture on Thursday 20 April at 16:45.
Lieutenant Colonel Ann O’Flynn will be speaking about her career as a British Army Officer and Veterinary Surgeon, as well as her experiences playing for England Rugby.
Dr Ann O’Flynn MRCVS qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2001 from the University of Liverpool before joining the Royal Army Veterinary Corps in 2002. She served her country both at home and overseas as a Veterinary Officer and more recently as a specialist in infectious diseases and public health. Her rugby career spanned 30 years with 23 Caps for England.
Evening study will be cancelled for Years 9-11 on this date as we would like our students to benefit from this valuable guest speaker. If you would like your child to attend, please can you sign them up using the link below. Parents are also most welcome to book a seat for this free event.
Other after-school activities and extra revision classes will go ahead as normal, as will Year 7-8 evening study. Boarders in Years 9-13 who are free at this time will also attend this talk.
