Upper Sixth have organised a 24 Hour Triathlon, starting 26 March, for the whole school from Nursery through to Sixth Form. This will involve a range of activities including water sports, a fun run and cycling to raise funds for The Royal Marden Charity.
The charity raises money to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure the nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are then used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Head Girl, India, has said "The Royal Marsden Charity means so much to me because of their amazing care this year towards my father and also to all those in our community who have been affected by cancer. We hope everyone will donate as much or as little as they can."
