Each year Leweston is proud to award scholarships which recognise and encourage pupils with talent, potential and who we believe will make a significant contribution to the life of the school. Scholarships are available for Academic Excellence and in Art and Design, Equestrian, Music, Drama, Sport and Pentathlon. Please be advised that candidates can apply for only one scholarship. There are also two boarding scholarships open to UK full boarders looking to join Year 9 or Sixth Form.

Applications are invited from external candidates at Years 7, 9 or Sixth Form.

Scholarship Guidelines

The award of a scholarship requires a positive commitment to the life of the school. Scholars are expected to make a significant contribution to their department. For this reason, candidates may apply for a scholarship in one discipline only.

Typically, one award is made for each discipline in each age group however an exhibition may be awarded to a candidate who shows promise but is not yet at the full scholarship standard. The school will request a reference from your current school prior to assessment.

All scholarship candidates must be registered with the school to pursue an application.
