The Interview Process

Due to the nature of the different roles at Leweston, we operate two separate selection  processes for candidates.

For support staff positions the interview process usually consists of a panel interview, sometimes combined with an aptitude test. If you have applied for a more senior position it is likely that you will be invited to a second interview where you may meet key figures within the school community.

For teaching vacancies the process includes an  interview with  senior members of the leadership team and relevant department, teaching an observed lesson, interacting with pupils and meeting potential future colleagues.

All interviews involve meeting with a member of staff appropriately trained in Safer Recruitment.

If you are successful in securing a position at Leweston, you will receive your offer documentation and induction information from a member of the Human Resources team.

All  appointments are subject to a probationary period.
