Senior Speech Day
Friday, June 8, 2018
"As some of you prepare to leave school, and others amongst you start thinking about the next stage of exams, the first thing I want you to take away from what I’ve said today is, “Never be afraid to question, and keep learning”... The first thing that my time at Leweston taught me is that one should always keep questioning, and keep learning".
- Surg Lt Cdr Philippa Bennett, Old Antonian
Our Speech Day, held on June 5, was a great way to celebrate the Senior Schools' year at Leweston and our fantastic Year 13 Leavers who will be truly missed. Year 13 lay down their robes ready for Year 12 to pick up the mantle and our Head Girl, Clemmie, gave a heart warming speech reminiscing on her time at the School in the form of a poem.
We were delighted to welcome back Old Antonian, Surg Lt Cdr Philippa Bennett, who gave a talk about her Naval and Medical career to date. Philippa's talk was inspiring and influential and we are happy to be able to share her words with you. Please click here to read Philippa's speech.
Congratulations to our award winners and to everyone for making this academic year so special. We hope everyone has a great summer and we look forward to seeing our pupils, and some new faces, in September!
