A busy half term for Leweston Boarders
Tuesday, October 22, 2019
Leweston Boarders have had an exciting and busy start to their Autumn Term. Already they have sharpened their circus skills, celebrated the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival along with a scavenger hunt around the school grounds, and marked the Boarding Schools Association's National Boarding Day by taking over the Montacute Park Run.
In the lead up to half term the Boarders also took part in a big game of dodge-ball. They enjoyed the game so much that they have asked to play every week!
They also explored the 16th Century Tudor Mansion, Sherborne Castle. Coming from many different countries and areas across England, our Boarders love to be able to explore the rich history which is on our doorstep.
Amongst their various trips they also managed to squeeze in Games Nights, a pool party and a barn dance. The Boarders have much more to look forward to after half term including a trip to the Harry Potter Studios, Movie Night and Ice Skating!
