This term, one of the extra curricular opportunities on offer as part of our Activities Programme is a weekly, 45 minute riding lesson at Pevlings Farm Riding and Livery Stables.
Our first riding session this week was a great success. There has been an overwhelming response to this after-school activity and the first eight students enjoyed a lovely evening becoming acquainted with their horse or pony. The more advanced riders were quickly trotting and cantering, and even jumped a couple of show jumps. Our more novice or beginner riders were also trotting, steering their horse and learning the school movements needed to perfect their newly developed riding skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who wish to learn to ride but do not have their own horse and we can't wait to watch their skills develop over the term.
