Leweston’s long-standing success with STEM subjects sees places taken up at Cambridge to read Medicine, Medical Sciences at Exeter, Chemical Engineering at Swansea, Pharmacy at UCL and Maths and Finance at Leeds.
In the world of social sciences two students are going to study Psychology at York and UEA respectively and one is heading to Westminster for Sociology. There is also a place taken at Cardiff for Religion and Theology.
Modern Foreign Language courses are popular this year with French and Spanish at Bristol and Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies at Newcastle, a popular destination as another student will be headed to there to study English and Creative Writing.
In the field of Art, one student is going to the prestigious Central Saint Martins, one is going to Glasgow School of Art to study Product Design, another is travelling to Instituto Marangoni in London to read Fashion Business and one student has a place at Birmingham to complete a Foundation Course.
Courses with a vocational outcome are International Hospitality Management at Surrey, Midwifery at Manchester, Accounting and Finance at Warwick, Law at Oxford Brookes and Drama with Acting at UWE.
