Leweston Nursery runs two friendly, weekly toddler and parent groups each offering a unique experience for the very youngest children. Please note that sessions for Aquatots and Forest School must be booked in advance.
AQUATOTS WEDNESDAY 09.45AM – 10.30AM (TERM-TIME ONLY UNLESS ADVERTISED
Aquatots is a pool-based parent and toddler group for children from 3 months to 4 years designed to introduce your baby to swimming through play and build water confidence in a fun and friendly environment.
The group takes place at the Leweston School Pool and is led by Ali Parnell, the School’s Pool Manager and a qualified swimming instructor. Ali also leads the swimming sessions for Nursery and Pre-Prep. Sessions cost £4.70 and due to popularity of the sessions, booking is essential.
The pool is heated but during the winter months, but children may want to wear a ‘wet suit’ style swimming costume.
FOREST SCHOOL PLAYGROUP FRIDAYS 10AM TO 11.30AM (TERM-TIME ONLY)
Our Forest School Playgroup offers children from newborns to 5 years old the opportunity to sample the Forest School curriculum. The group has been established for over fifteen years and we are always pleased to welcome new families
The all-weather, outdoor group is based in our beautiful Enchanted Wood and activities include den building, clay faces, leaf pictures, seasonal hunts and more. Our outdoor canopy provides a dry area for stories and chat but children (and adults) will need weather proof clothing. Tea, hot chocolate and coffee are available.
Sessions cost £3.50 and must be booked in advanced.
Please just book for your child. Parents attend free.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING
Bookings should be made solely from Leweston’s booking platforms (which can be accessed through the website and original content on our social media platforms). Places are non-transferable between parties. Anyone who attempts to access an event or facility with a ticket not in their name will be refused entry.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
A minimum of 14 days notice is required to cancel a booking. In the case of cancellations with less than 14 days notice, we regret that no refund is available except in the case of injury/illness which has been certified in writing by a registered medical practitioner accompanied by a letter to the school.
INSURANCE
All children in our care are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
FIRST AID
In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to children in our care, and the emergency services will be called if necessary.
DATA PROTECTION
Leweston operates under the Data Protection Act 1998. Your child’s image may be captured at facilities where CCTV cameras are in operation. Photo permission will be requested at time of booking and your stated wishes adhered to.
