Leweston is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects everyone involved with the school to share this commitment. This safeguarding responsibility necessitates a clear child protection policy and procedures and means that we may need to share information and work in partnership with external agencies when there are concerns about a pupil’s welfare.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead for the school is Mrs Emma Massey, Assistant Head. She is supported by a team of four assistants.
The school’s policy of safeguarding is available here . Below are some practical resources to be used alongside those provided for parents via email.
