Dawn Martin has taught in Primary education for the past thirty years. Before retiring she held senior posts in a Roman Catholic Primary School in Surrey. She served as teacher Governor and mentored for newly qualified teachers. She served the local Catholic Church as Chair of the Pastoral Team, taught the First Holy Communion Programme and was a counsellor for the Catholic Marriage Advisory Service for nearly twenty years.
On retirement Dawn became Trustee of the Fordingbridge Museum in Hampshire, volunteered for the Salisbury Contact Centre and ran a successful and popular B&B. She moved with her husband, Christopher, to the local area three years ago and has three adult children and six grandchildren.
