Upper and lower body strengthening, cardiovascular fitness, core strengthening – this class has it all! Exercises are similar to a circuits style class, suitable for all ages and abilities. If it’s raining, we’re still training!

An exercise class based on training concepts that boxers use to keep fit using eight different punches. Tone all areas of the body whilst building your cardio fitness in this enjoyable class. Boxercise is one of the most popular exercise classes in the UK and great for all abilities.

Pilates exercises develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core. This class will be held in the Italian Garden.

Five-a-side football is a version of mini football, in which each team fields five players (four outfield players and a goalkeeper).

The school’s 25 metre heated indoor swimming pool is open throughout the week for lane swimming. For just £5.00 PAYG, why not come for a swim and enjoy the use of Cedars café right next door. Lane swims are restricted to 24 people in the pool, 8 per lane.

Please pay for sessions in the café via the Café Supervisor.

• Ensure swimmers are in the correct lane for ability.  
• Please follow the direction signs at end of each lane.  
• If a swimmer changes strokes, he or she may need to change lanes in busy sessions.  

1. Shoes must be removed before walking on the soft flooring surrounding the pool.   
2. You MUST declare any medical condition to the lifeguard on duty and ensure if Asthmatic you have an inhaler with you ON poolside.  
3. Food, drink and chewing gum are not permitted on the pool side, picnics may be eaten in the grounds around the pool and tennis courts – please ensure you take your litter home.  
4. All children aged 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult in the swimming pool dome area.  Children 7 and under are NOT permitted to swim without an adult in the pool with them.  This must be strictly adhered to. The lifeguard cannot accept responsibility for your children in your absence.  
5. Fins and Personal Inflatables are only allowed at the discretion of the lifeguard.   
6. Tennis courts are available to use.  Bookings must be made via the Café Supervisor or email cafe@leweston.dorset.sch.uk.  Tennis nets must be slackened after play.   Holiday time only 
7. The school buildings and grounds are out of bounds to anyone using the pool or tennis courts, including current pupils and parents.
8. Leweston School is a ‘no smoking’ site.  
9. No dogs or ball games are allowed in the pool garden area.  
10. Use of the swimming pool is at the lifeguards’ discretion and their decision is final.
