Our coaches focus on building strong fundamentals, offering personalised mentorship for young riders and individual development plans for more advanced riders. This is supported with regular clinics delivered by specialists.
The LCRA offers lessons on school horses all of whom have been chosen to support the full range of abilities and interests. Coaching is also available to pupils who have their own horses and ponies. Lessons are typically held at lunchtimes and after-school but may be arranged during the school day for pupils in the Prep School and Years 7 to 9. Older pupils may have lessons during study periods. Most lessons are individual but there are some small group sessions available with riders of a similar standard. Lessons are usually offered on a weekly basis and booked per term but the Director of Riding can work with more advanced riders to develop a bespoke programme tailored to their development.
