Talent Pathways Programme

Empowering Excellence, Inspiring Futures

Our Pathways Programme is a dynamic framework for identifying and nurturing exceptional ability across key disciplines. It is designed to support pupils in developing their talents, leadership skills, and personal growth.

The Pathways Programme is more than a talent initiative, it’s a culture of aspiration. Pupils are encouraged to take risks, reflect on their progress, and contribute meaningfully to the school community. Whether through academic societies, drama productions, sports teams, or service projects, Leweston pupils learn to lead with purpose and passion.

Supporting Pathway Participants

  • Personalised Support: Every pupil follows a bespoke development plan, guided by Heads of Department and co-ordinated by a dedicated Pathways Lead.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Growth: All participants benefit from a shared programme covering performance psychology, goal-setting, leadership, and wellbeing.
  • Flexible Entry: Pupils may be invited to join from Prep 5 onwards, with opportunities to enter at any stage.
  • Values-Driven: The programme reflects Leweston’s core values: Community, Opportunity, and Expertise, ensuring pupils grow as learners and leaders.

Pathway + Scholarship Opportunities

Leweston’s Scholarship Programme runs alongside the Talent Pathways, offering awards in Academic Excellence, Art and Design, Drama, Equestrian, Music, Sport, and Pentathlon. While many pathway pupils go on to apply for scholarships, applications are equally welcomed from those not currently on a pathway.
