Parent and Toddler Playgroups

Leweston Nursery runs two friendly, weekly toddler and parent groups, each offering a unique experience for the very youngest children. Please note that sessions for Aquatots and Forest School must be booked in advance.
Aquatots (2)

Aquatots | (Not running in January and February)

Aquatots is a pool-based parent and toddler group for children from 3 months to 4 years, designed to introduce your little one to swimming through play and build water confidence in a fun and friendly environment.

The sessions take place at the Leweston School Pool and cost £5 per child, parents attend free. Due to the popularity of the sessions, booking is essential.

Sessions will resume on Wednesday 22 April 2026. Booking will reopen closer to the time.

Forest School (1)

Forest School | Tuesdays 10.30am - 11.30am (Starting 13th January)

Our Forest School Playgroup offers children from 0 to 4 years old the opportunity to sample the Forest School curriculum. The group has been established for over fifteen years and we are always pleased to welcome new families.

The all-weather, outdoor group is based in our beautiful Enchanted Wood and activities include den building, clay faces, leaf pictures, seasonal hunts and more. Our outdoor canopy provides a dry area for stories and chat but children (and adults) will need weather proof clothing. Babycino and all activities are included. Sessions cost £6 and must be booked in advanced. Please just book for your child. Parents attend free.

Pony Sessions (July August)-1

Pony Sessions | (Not running until April)

Our Pre-School Pony Sessions offers children from 2 to 4 years old the opportunity to get up close and friendly with our smallest ponies in our new stable yard to include a short ridden session for those that would like to.

The sessions will include grooming and pony care, story-time, and helping on the yard. 

£15 per session. 

  • Sensible outdoor wear to include sturdy shoes or boots, coat
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them
  • Please inform of any allergies or dietary needs
  • Snack and Coffee provided

Booking is currently unavailable until dates for the Spring Term are announced.
