Boarding Stays and Taster Days

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and the best way to discover whether Leweston Prep is the right fit is to experience our community first‑hand. Why not come and visit for a day (or two)?

Engaging taster days that reflect real school life

We offer a full programme of taster visits for children from Reception to Year 6. Each visit is designed to give your child a genuine sense of what everyday life feels like at Leweston, friendly, active and full of opportunity.

Your child will:

  • Join their chosen class for lessons and activities
  • Be paired with a dedicated buddy from the class
  • Be fully supported by our caring and experienced staff

These visits are gentle, welcoming and tailored to help each child quickly feel at ease.

Overnight Boarding Stays for Years 4, 5 and 6

For older Prep pupils, we offer optional overnight boarding stays. These provide a relaxed and reassuring introduction to Leweston’s boarding community.

Children staying overnight will enjoy:

  • A comfortable, friendly evening in the boarding house
  • Age‑appropriate activities and downtime with other boarders
  • A chance to experience boarding routines in a calm, supportive environment

It’s an ideal way for pupils to try boarding for the first time and build confidence before joining more regularly.
