School Fees

Parents are notified of extra costs in advance. Fees are payable on or by the first day of term. Extras are invoiced on a termly basis in arrears. Fees can be paid by BACS, cheque or monthly direct debit, which spreads the cost of tuition fees across either 10 or 12 months with no interest or charges. The School offers a 2% discount for annual payments providing that the payment is made prior to the Autumn Term bill being issued. Annual payments made after this point will have the 2% discount applied to the Spring and Summer terms only.

The Government have announced that VAT will be imposed on school fees from January 2025 at a rate of 20%. We expect to receive further details on how the tax will be implemented following the Autumn Budget on Thursday 30 October.

To help mitigate the impact of VAT, the Governors have decided to reduce the headline fees for the next two terms (Spring and Summer 2025). VAT at 20% will then be added to these reduced fees on the school bills. Should the rate at which VAT is levied, the timing of its implementation, or any other material details deviate from our current assumptions, we will update this page of any consequent changes to our planned fee adjustments. Please see below fees for the Autumn term and indicative fees for the Spring and Summer terms.

Sibling Discount

In recognition of our commitment to being a family school, families with more than one child attending Leweston at the same time can access the following discounts on the current day fees:

For two children attending Leweston, the youngest child receives 5% discount.
For three children attending, the youngest child receives 10% and the second child receives 5% discount.
For four children attending the youngest child receives 15%, the second receives 10% and the third child receives 5% discount.

Please note the sibling discount is offered from Year 1 upwards and where the family is not in receipt of a bursary or other fee remission.
