Visiting Leweston Prep
The best way to understand whether Leweston Prep is right for your child is to come and see it.

- Visiting the Prep School
We welcome families throughout the year, and every visit is a proper look at the school on a normal day, not a performance put on for prospective parents.

Individual visits
A visit to Leweston Prep takes around an hour and a half and includes a tour of the school and grounds, time to see lessons in progress and a conversation with the Head of Prep about your child and your questions. If there are particular staff you would like to meet, Head of Sport, Boarding or the SENCO, let us know when you book and we will arrange it.
If you cannot visit in person, the Head of Prep is happy to meet families online. Please mention this when you get in touch.

Experience Leweston
Once a year, usually in June, we open the school to prospective families for a full afternoon on site. Experience Leweston is a chance to see the school busy and at its, with current pupils and staff on hand throughout. Children have the opportunity to join in with activities whilst parents can have a good look around. It is a great event for families who want a broader picture before committing to an individual visit.
Taster days
Once your child has registered, the next step is a taster day, a full day in their potential year group. Taster days are a different thing from a visit: they are for your child, not for you. Full details are on the Taster Days page.
