Visiting Leweston Sixth Form
The best way to understand whether Leweston is right for you is to come and see it on a normal day.

- Visiting Sixth Form
A Sixth Form visit at Leweston is deliberately different from a standard school tour. It is built around you and your subject interests rather than a fixed script, and you will spend time with current Sixth Form students as well as staff.

Individual visits
A Sixth Form visit includes a tour of the school with current students, a meeting with the Headmaster and Head of Sixth Form and the chance to discuss subject options, course combinations and entry requirements in as much detail as you want. If you would like to sit in on a lesson in a subject you are considering, or to meet the head of a particular department, we will arrange it. If you cannot visit in person, the Headmaster and Head of Sixth Form are happy to meet students and families online.

Experience Leweston
Once a year, usually in June, we open the school to prospective families from all three sections for a full afternoon on site. Experience Leweston is a particularly useful event if you want to see the school alongside prospective families from other sections, speak to staff informally and get a broader picture before booking an individual visit.
Year 10 Sixth Form Introduction Day
Each summer we invite Year 10 students from Leweston and other schools to spend time in the Sixth Form, joining taster lessons, meeting current students and getting a feel for the environment well before they need to make decisions about where to do their A Levels. If you are currently in Year 10 and thinking ahead, contact the admissions team to find out about the next event.
