Visiting Leweston School

The best way to understand whether Leweston is right for your child is to come and see it on a normal day.

We welcome families throughout the year, and every visit is a genuine look at the school as it actually operates, not a set piece arranged for prospective parents.

Individual visits

A visit to Leweston Senior School takes around two hours and includes a tour of the school and grounds, time to see lessons in progress and a meeting with the Headmaster. If you would like to meet particular members of staff, the Head of Boarding, a head of department or a member of the pastoral team, let us know when you book and we will arrange it.

The Headmaster is also happy to meet families online for those who cannot travel to us.

Experience Leweston

Once a year, usually in June, we open the school to prospective families for a full afternoon on site. Experience Leweston is a chance to see the school busy and at its, with current pupils and staff on hand throughout. Children have the opportunity to join in with activities whilst parents can have a good look around. It is a great event for families who want a broader picture before committing to an individual visit.

Taster days

Once your child has registered, the next step is a taster day, a full day in their potential year group. This is a different thing from a visit: it is for your child, not for you, and it is the most important part of the admissions process.
