Joining Sixth Form
Welcome to Leweston. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that we are the right match for your family and to welcome you into the Leweston community. Leweston accepts a number of new pupils into Year 12 every year who quickly assimilate into the school community. Admission to the Sixth Form is by school report, predicted GCSE grades and an interview with the Headmaster.

- Joining Sixth Form
The standard entry requirement for students entering Sixth Form is 6 GCSEs at grade 5 or above with a grade 7 or above in the subjects they wish to pursue at A Level. Students studying subjects such as Psychology and Business Studies that have not been studied previously, should show proficiency in similar subjects. Entry is at the discretion of the Headmaster.
We aim to make the admissions process as clear and straightforward as possible. Below is a simple timeline for joining the Sixth Form.
Visit Us
We welcome prospective Sixth Form students for personalised visits throughout the year but would recommend that you visit as early as possible in the Autumn Term of Year 11, if not before. Visits included a guided tour with current pupils and a meeting with the Headmaster, Mr Paget-Tomlinson, and Head of Sixth Form, Mr Ryan-East.
Sixth Form Information Evening
Held in October the Information Evening is a great opportunity to see what Sixth Form is like. There are presentations from the Headmaster, Head of Sixth Form and current students as well as the opportunity to discuss the different courses with Heads of Department.
Click the button below to join us on Friday 4 October, 17:00 - 19:00.
